49th ANNUAL CONVENTION “Being Mary and Martha”
2017 Covention Ad Book
DCCW Convention Spirituality Talk on May 9
FOR BY GRACE YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED….
There was a Truth that was behind the wall that separated Nikki from God. She I knew it, but why could she never get past it and know the truth? This was the thirst that led her down a path she never dreamed she would walk.
“Who do you say that I am?” Jesus asked her.
She had to decide if He was a prophet or the Messiah? While being drowned in the ocean of love and being crucified at the same time, she discovered the Truth.
Nikki will share with you this journey to the Truth, and the “Martha and Mary” question she personally had to reconsider from a Muslim to a Christian perspective.
Nikki was born in Karachi, Pakistan and grew up in Africa in a Muslim family. 15 years ago she came to the United States with her two young children, seeking freedom from an arranged marriage. She was able to gain her freedom, thanks to the equal rights and laws of America. She learned how to drive, got a job and started a new life for herself and her children and live the American dream. Not long after, she met her present husband and is now happily married.
Nikki’s life as a Muslim went through a dramatic turn 8 years ago, when she encountered Jesus and Mary in dreams and other mystical experiences. These events led her to question and reconsider the Muslim faith she had practiced for 40 years, and make a decision to choose between God and family, culture and traditions.
Nikki will share her life-changing journey from the culture, faith, and traditions of the East, to the freedom in the West that allowed her to find redemption and salvation in Jesus Christ.
“I was dead and now I’m alive!”
Her message is one of hope and faith, that even when all seemed dark and lost, the Light of Christ came to transform and dispel the darkness.
Nikki has been interviewed on Immaculate Heart Radio, The Catholic Channel, and EWTN Radio and gives talks about her conversion and the transformation that came from faith in Jesus Christ. She is currently writing her autobiography to share the miracle that God has worked in her life, bringing her from darkness into Light.
